Established in 1931, this living museum contains over 3,400 acres of trails, gardens and trees. Its purpose is to promote conservation, study and protection of varieties of plants native to northeast Ohio. On the grounds, visitors are welcome to hike, fish, bird watch or just take in the natural beauty that magically changes with the seasons. Admission fees help to alleviate the cost of the arboretum's programs.

Recognized as the oldest civic horticultural center in the United States, this greenhouse takes great pride in its seasonal flowers and plants, including delicate orchids and tropical specimens. While visiting the grounds, visitors can appreciate landscape design specific to different cultures and groups.
